With the conclusion of the Giants winning the Super Bowl, our season here at the Historic Village at Allaire kicked off Sunday the 18th with the birthday celebration of our country first President George Washington. For those of you who made it out to the village I hope you all had a wonderful time on that beautiful day we were blessed with, and for those of you who couldn’t make it there’s plenty of more events coming up in March. The celebration in the chapel in front of a standing room only crowd included wonderful speeches by our very own Reverend Tanser, Captain Ed Delesly, Sergeant Tim Brown and the honorable Martin O’ Grady. The procession to and from the service was lead by our very own Allaire Militia which presented an authentic 1836 style. For those who came out to celebrate, a delicious cake was served in the mansion while some delicious baked goods were prepared in the Manager’s house and big house as well. Remember to check out and purchase tickets to the Irish Folk Music with “Three Pints Shy” on March 9th and 10th in addition to our St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on the 11th and the Funeral of Frances Allaire on the 25th of March. Hope to see everyone soon!
Ralph
